05Jun12: Tuesday- Toughest day of the cycle.

WOD 120529:

I have global vapir at 6:00am, so I will be hitting the GM/UAW wellness center abut 8:30-9ish.

BB Gymnastics
7X1 Clean & Jerk @ 90% – rest 60-80 sec.

Strength
Back Squat:
1X8 @ 70%,
1X8 @ 75%,
1X5 @ 85%,
1X5 @ 90%

– rest 1:00-2:00 between sets.
Notes: Percentage is based off of 120515
Conditioning
“Helen”
3 rounds for time of:
Run 400m
21 KBS 24/16kg
12 Pullups

No coasting on this conditioning.  I took it easy last time i did this w/ G. Sully.  Not this time....

  1. sq clean and jerk- 175 (probably should have done 180)
    Squats- 195, 220, 235, 250
    Helen- 9:15. Not too bad since my legs were shaking before starting the conditioning.....

  2. sq clean and push jerk - 140
    squats - 140, 150, 170, 180
    Helen - 14:46. 2nd and 3rd 400m were awful. KBs were really good. Box was crowded, so I played "find a place to do pull ups." But, when I got to do them, pull ups felt good too.
