Both felt pretty good. Need to keep working on dropping on jerk. the farther in to the 10, the worse my form got.
Conditioning: 17:55 (i think)
subbed 1 strict pull up (on squat rack) and 1 T2b + dips for muscle up. Otherwise wasn't bad.
The combination of Life and Weakness has continued to plague my work outs.

Squat Snatch at 95 lbs every 30. Really struggled to stabilize the weight and get it to ‘land in the right spot above me. I kept having it too far forward when I hit the full squat. Not sure if it was shoulder or back flexibility. But I need to stress my stretching I’m sure.
Squat Clean and Jerk: 140. Getting under the bar was the challenge as always. I dumped it once when I didn’t rack it correctly at the bottom. (Elbows were low) Fortunately it was starting from a low position so nothing was damaged. Really need to order my bumper plates. Had 3 reps where I power cleaned it. Did front squats and press and didn’t count the rep as ‘punishment’.
Tim- unfortunately we have other things in life that don't always let us progress as we think we should.
ReplyDeleteI have found that (when snatching) you concentrate pulling the bar up your body (even scraping stomach to diaghpram) you don't chase it forward as much and it lands more naturally in your OHS position. A very small deviation from that becomes very obvious either your on your toes or dumping it forward.
Keep it rolling.
