22May13: C&J PR Time.

Spend 20min working up to a 1RM.





Conditioning

3 rounds for time:
Run 400m
14 Ring Dips
7 Power Clean & Jerks 165/105#

    did 185 for the C&J. It didn't feel too bad. Went up to 195, pulled it to my belly button, and dropped it. Could NOT get under 195. I really need to find a squat rack on a regular basis. I just don't have the power I need in my legs. Air squats, running, front squats and DL aren't getting it done.

    The conditioning was hell.

    took almost 30minutes. I very grudgeingly scaled it down from 165 to 155. 1+ minute rests betwen power clean and jerks isn't conditioning. That was my rationale. Still took a while.

    1. tim- good to hear from you. was wondering if the launch was keeping you out of the garage.

      I suck at C&J. Cleans- no problem. Jerk- lots of issues. i just need to keep working it.

      Conditioning. Chose 145# to make this a metcon and it was. last two sets of c&j faster than first one. 11:49.
