10Apr13: Wed. Clean and Jerk work, then old man conditioning.....

BB Gymnastics
 
1) Every 20 seconds for 4 minutes:

1 Clean & Jerk @ 75%

*Rest 3 minutes.

2) Every 60 seconds for 8 minutes:

1 Clean & Jerk @ 85%

Conditioning

In 12 minutes:
row 1 k,
Then complete as many rounds as possible in the remaining time of:
7 pull-ups
7 push press from behind the neck
Your total score will be number of reps completed (14 reps per round).
Rx’d weights are as follows:

105#45-49
95#50-54

  1. clean and jerks: 20s @ 150 (this was tough)
    60s @ 185. A couple crappy jerks, but pleased w/ this. 90%ish.

    Conditioning: 5 rounds, 11 reps. didn't use legs enough on push press early and it killed me.

  2. squat clean and jerks: 20s @145 this was brutal. I think 3 per minute is about all of these I can do.
    60s @165 next time I'll got heavier, wasn't too bad until the end.

    conditioning, subbed 30 135#DL for the row. subbed 7 dips and 7 push ups for the pull ups. Did 5 rounds, 7 dips and 7 pull ups. feels rough. Looking forward to tomorrows WOD.
